The City of Azusa is asking residents to review and comment on its draft Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, which identifies hazards facing the community — including wildfires, earthquakes, flooding and severe weather — and recommends strategies to reduce risks. The public comment period runs Nov. 4–18. Residents, businesses and community organizations can review the draft plan and submit comments online; the deadline for comments is Nov. 18. Source.
